A six-wheel drive truck seems to attract attention. American Hennessey Performance presents one in the form of the Goliath 6×6, which once again follows the Mercedes-Benz model from 2013.
At the end of last year, Hennessey already showed the VelociRaptor 6×6, a vehicle based on the Ford F-150 truck. The Chevrolet Silverado Trail Boss serves as the basis for the Goliath 6×6.
The car gets 20-inch wheels and 37-inch tires. Apart from the extra rear axle, the Goliath is also equipped with extra power.
Thanks to the compressor and a different exhaust system, the V8 engine now produces 705 horses, an increase of 285 horses. For an additional fee, Hennessey can increase the power to 808 hp.
Hennessey will build 24 units of the Goliath 6×6. In the United States, the price is set at $ 375,000, which is about 318,600 euros. The car does not come to the Netherlands.
Mercedes in 2013 model with G 63 AMG 6×6
In 2013, Mercedes-Benz introduced a pick-up similar to the G 63 AMG 6×6. The car cost around 380,000 euros excluding taxes at the time.
Recently the famous Mercedes tuner Brabus launched its car variant, B63S 700 6×6. This model had to give 482,231 euros, excluding taxes.
The Hennessey VelociRaptor 6×6 cost about $294,000 when it launched in December 2017.
