The new GX has permanent all-wheel drive and an electronically controlled transfer case as standard. The manufacturer also offers an SUV with a Torsen lockable center differential, while the Overtrail models feature an additional lockable differential.

The Lexus GX 550 Overtrail enhanced with JAOS updates can be seen at this year’s Toyota Auto Salon in Hall 7.
