At the New York Auto Show 2024, the Korean manufacturer presents the Genesis Neolun: a high concept SUV, which heralds the future production model, the GV90.

The New York show is an opportunity for many manufacturers to present their new products. In the case of Genesis, the first division of Hyundai, we discover a concept car Genesis Neolun : A large SUV that heralds the arrival of a production model.

A futuristic and advanced concept car

The name “Neolun” means “new moon”, and is inspired by “Moon-shaped Korean porcelain jars”. It is a reflection of the company’s latest technological developments, and includes a new stylistic direction for the brand. This is done in advance by a horizontal light signature and double horizontal borders, extending to the wings. This spirit goes further than the previous models and concepts revealed in the Genesis, since this time, the bottom line of the LED light takes a V shape, to suggest the shape of the brand’s grilles.

In general, the lines of the concept are futuristic, refined and laid out, as evidenced by the absence of door handles, or the very tapered shape of the mirrors. Genesis Neolun: an ode to Korean hospitality

If the Korean manufacturer does not release more information about its large luxury SUV concept, it is a safe bet that it does production version of Genesis GV90 : like the Kia EV9, it should offer 100% electric motors, as well as a more advanced configuration of three rows of seats, allowing up to seven people to be accommodated on board.
