Shortly before the time of the accident, there was snow and hail, which left the road in a greasy state. The woman’s car had winter tires with enough tread. The driver was seriously injured in the accident and was taken to hospital by rescue helicopter.

The car sustained material damage of around 3,000 euros. In addition, the water management office and the fire department were informed because engine oil was leaking into the stream. The fire departments of Fronau, Altenkreith, Neukirchen-Balbini and Stamsried were on duty.
