Without diesel engine

The third generation Dacia Duster was built on the common CMF-B platform, known from the current Sandero i Jogger. And as in the last one, we will no longer see a diesel engine under the hood.

Now only “petrol” cars are available. On top of the row is hybrid car, using a 94-horsepower 1.6 unit and two electric motors, of which number 2 is only the starter and the alternator works.

Another new addition to the lineup The Duster has the TCe 130 unit, which is included in the Romanian brand’s offer for the first time. It combines a 3-cylinder, turbocharged gasoline engine with a capacity of 1.2 liters (operating in the Miller cycle) and the so-called. gentle mixture, which helps in the start phase and acceleration.

As Dacia promises, the use of the above system allows you to reduce the average fuel consumption by about 10%. The TCe 130 variant is available with a 6-speed manual gearbox and front-wheel drive or 4×4 drive.
