Warren, MI – The 2025 Buick Enclave has been unveiled, a three-row SUV with a new look and a host of interior design and technology upgrades.

The automaker’s three-row SUV overhaul comes after the introduction for the 2024 model year of the new Envista SUV, along with the revised Encore GX and Envision SUV. The latter, remember, was officially introduced a few weeks ago.

Put together that creates a Buick lineup that is now among the newest in the business. All four SUVs take key design cues from the Wildcat EV concept that has been making the rounds at auto shows for the past year or two.

2025 Buick Enclave – What’s New?

Almost everything in fact, starting with the updates given to the grille and front and rear fascia. Not surprisingly, the Enclave sports the new Buick logo found on other recent models introduced by the brand, mentioned above.

Other features clearly inspired by the Wildcat concept include the signature wing-shaped headlamps, LED taillights with a checkered style and LED taillights that run the width of the car. In general, the car grows in length, height and width for a more aggressive presence on the road.

Inside we also find a very new environment with updated technology, new standard safety features and improved ergonomics, including a revised center console and more open space between the front seats. Super Cruise technology is starting to appear in the Buick car. More on the interior below.

As with the new Envision, the version itself has been updated with the old Essence and ST (Sport Touring) trims, which were previously an optional package, now upgraded to become a trim in their own right. Note that it is essentially a basic Preferred model with additional visuals added to create a sportier look. Above both variants is the Avenir variant. Details on each trim are below.

Powertrain of the 2025 Buick Enclave

Updates continue under wraps, with the 2025 Enclave getting an all-new engine, a 2.5L Turbo unit good for 328 hp and 326 lb-ft of torque working with a standard 8-speed automatic transmission. AWD is standard on all trim levels (in Canada; US customers have a FWD option). This powertrain, which by the way is the same as in the GMC Acadia and Chevy Traverse, is the only one available for the Enclave in 2025.

By default, the new Enclave has a towing capacity of 1,500 pounds, with an available towing package raising that to 5,000 pounds.

2025 Buick Enclave interior design

The biggest new feature of this year’s model is a big one: the dash has a continuous 30-inch display that includes a cluster of data and a multimedia system.

The Preferred and ST models come with leather seats, while the Avenir has leather upholstery. The higher-end Enclave has exclusive interior color options, Cool Sky Grey, Ebony and Mocha.

Then we have the power touch-release center seats that make it easy to access the third row. Although the third row does not offer more space than before thanks to the increased dimensions of the car, it remains seats designed for children or small adults, at least for long trips. Note that all versions come with standard mid-row captain’s chairs.

Additionally, the interior includes functions such as wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration, wireless charging and, unlike the smaller Envision, Super Cruise (with subscription). This allows for contactless driving on the large and ever-expanding network of roads in North America (by the end of 2025, it should reach 1.2 million kilometers). Those who use the option also get driver attention support and enhanced automatic parking assist functionality.

Security
The 2025 Buick Enclave includes several new safety/driving assistance features including blind spot steering assist, intersection emergency braking, traffic sign recognition and lane keeping assist with lane departure warning.

For the first time on a Buick, we get integrated cameras that allow users to remotely view the interior and exterior of the vehicle if the alarm goes off.

2025 Enclave Preferred includes:

– Unique ST badges

Both models offer a Power Package that includes a head-up display, one-touch second-row seats and optional power-folding third-row seats. The package is standard on the Avenir trim.

2025 Enclave Avenir also adds:

The 2025 Buick Enclave will be assembled at the Lansing Delta Assembly plant in Michigan, and deliveries will begin later in the summer of 2024. Pricing has not yet been announced, but we can expect a starting price of just under $60,000. in Canada.
