Paris Chevrolet and Texoma Chevy Dealers awarded Anderson Bunch with a $1,000.00 Texoma Excellence in Fine Arts Scholarship for his outstanding achievement.

Anderson’s dedication to music, especially his mastery of the trumpet, has shined through his seven-plus years of dedication. In particular, he has earned the position of the chair of the 1st All-State trumpet player for two consecutive years, showing his skill and dedication. Additionally, as a three-time 5A TMEA Texas All-State Band member and four-year UIL Region 4 1st Chair, Anderson consistently demonstrates his exceptional musical talent.

However, Anderson’s impact goes beyond his personal achievements. As a member of the Paris High School band, he has left a lasting mark as only the fourth singer in the school’s history to achieve the feat of making the All-State Band three times. His dedication to his craft is matched by his leadership qualities, as evidenced by his role as lead drummer for the band Blue Blazes over the past two years. Anderson’s energy and positivity have been synonymous with the spirit of the band’s programming.

Anderson’s excellence extends beyond music. She is an honors graduate, excelling in dual credit and AP classes. Additionally, he has earned the esteemed rank of Eagle Scout, demonstrating not only academic excellence, but also a strong commitment to service and leadership.

Anderson embodies a rare combination of talent, work ethic, and character, ready to inspire others as he begins his journey at Texas A&M University.
