Assen, Grid: Toprak Razgatlioglu most defeated / Superbike World Championship

The results of the sprint races partly define the starting grid for the second Superbike race on Sunday. SPEEDWEEK.com explains who will start where in Assen.

In the first SBK race on Saturday and in the sprint race on Sunday, drivers start according to the Superpole results.

There is a modified starting grid for the second main race on Sunday, which starts in Assen at 2am. The first nine of the sprint race form the first three starting lines. The remaining drivers starting the second race from 10th on the grid will be ranked according to the Superpole results.

For example, if the Superpole winner crashes in the sprint race, in the worst case scenario he will return to 10th place on the grid for the second run.

The biggest beneficiary in Drenthe is world champion Alvaro Bautista (Aruba.it Ducati), who moves up six places from 7th to 1st on the grid.

The biggest loser is Toprak Razgatlioglu (ROKiT BMW), who is down six places to 9th.
