Aston Martin has changed in two years, says Lance Stroll

Without a single point after the first three races of the season and dead last in the team classification, Lance Stroll is underlining the English design’s ability to improve and climb back up to seventh in the constructors’ standings at the end of the season.

“Now big changes have been made. “It’s the whole attitude of the team: we are closer than before. I think the cooperation is better than before. And I think at the factory, all the professionalism, the communication and the way everything is done has improved since the days of Racing Point. »

After the retirement of Sebastian Vettel last year, the one who will be linked with Fernando Alonso in 2023, emphasizes the importance of showing a consistent performance throughout the calendar.

“I think we still have weekends where we are not sure why we are not as competitive as other weekends. We have an idea, but we’re not 100% sure. I think going forward that should be the goal – to compete more often and on different circuits: high efficiency, low power, high power. I think that is the priority. But when I see where we were at the beginning of the year, I think we have taken a big step in the right direction. »
