Eleven BSL teams in the Chevrolet Cup


Bas-Saint-Laurent will field eleven teams for the regional minor hockey championships that will take place over the next two weekends.

The women’s section will be held from Thursday in the area of ​​Lac Saint-Louis. The following weekend, it will be the turn of the men’s section, this time in the Mauricie region.

The region will have five teams competing by Thursday, including its two full Cyclones du Bas-Saint-Laurent teams:

  • M-11 Group team
  • M-11 AA camp team
  • M-13 AA camp team
  • M-15 AA full team
  • M-18 AA full team

  • M-11 BB Sieurs de Matane
  • M-13 BB River and Lake Pumas
  • M-15 BB Neighbors of Chanoine-Beaudet
  • M-18 BB Blue and Gold from Rivière-du-Loup

  • M-15 AAA Albatross elite

Cup and four medals

In the spring of 2023, Bas-Saint-Laurent brought back the Chevrolet Cup in the women’s section and won the gold medal with the Cyclones M13 AA as well as three other medals from the men’s regional championship.

They were defeated by the Mariniers de Rimouski M11 BB (bronze medal), Sieurs de Matane M18 BB (silver medal) and Pumas du Fleuve et des Lacs M13 BB (bronze medal).
