Final Fantasy XVI is undoubtedly one of the most anticipated titles of the year – especially by fans of Japanese RPGs. It makes us even more happy that there is less than a month left before the premiere, and we will finally be able to get acquainted with the new phase of the series, which probably surpasses many other representatives of the genre in terms of cult status. The days may be numbered, but you still have to endure a little.
However, what makes the wait boring is the hope that everything will be fixed here. One would like to check which features the developers will surprise us with this time and which features they focused on the most. We know that as usual, they took inspiration from many productions to get to this – Ryota Suzuki recently mentioned one of them it doesn’t come to mind first:
There is something Marvel Vs in the game. Capcom 2, something we took and put in Final Fantasy XVI, namely – as you may or may not know – Marvel Vs. Capcom 2 had a Support System where you could give your teammate instructions during battle. Thanks to the implementation of this system, we were able to create not only direct duels, but also fight with many characters at once, which gives a very large system and experience.
Indeed, it is an amazing game to set up the fight in the next installment of Final Fantasy. However, from the mouth of the developer it seems reasonable and maybe it will turn out to be true inspiration Marvel vs. Capcom 2 will be popular. Well, we’ll find out the hard way in just a few weeks, and I’m sure we might be pleasantly surprised!
