As a tribute to the impressive performance of the Belgian champion, the X Gran Berlinetta Tribute show car wears a special livery. “Midnight blue” decorated with a white stripe, evoking the unique Ickx racing helmet. Another wink is on the front wings, with two flags linked by the number 24 written in the official font of the 24 Hours of Le Mans, obviously in reference to the Belgian driver’s 6 wins at the Sarthe.

The concept features a new Genesis front end, adorned with a shield-shaped Crest grille and integrated Quad headlights. This has the effect of organizing the volume and connecting the front and back with two superimposed lines, typical of the Genesis brand, in a style that is at once spatial, curved and futuristic. The side profile shows the dashboard-to-axle ratio, which moves the drivetrain and powertrain to the rear for a mid-engine layout. The interior showcases a world of refinement, a panoramic digital interface that serves as an infotainment center that integrates with a digital side-viewing system that provides a clear view of nearby vehicles. Steering-by-wire control allows for precise and efficient operation.

The concept is powered by a Lambda 11 V6 engine, mounted in the middle and electrically assisted by Genesis E-SC technology. The hybrid powertrain delivers a total power of 1071 hp and a total torque of 1334 nM, making this car as powerful as it is beautiful. The V6 roars at 10,000 rpm while producing a maximum power of 870 hp while the Yasa E engine produces 201 hp of power.
