GT2 European Series: Maserati dominates Qualifying

Maserati decides to qualify for the European GT2 Series at Le Castellet.

Qualification 1:

Leonardi Gorini took pole position for the first race at Le Castellet in the first qualifying session. In the LP Racing Maserati, the Italian took the best starting position with a time of 2:04.523 minutes.

RTR KTM projects from Jan Krabec follows in second place. The Czech was 0.460 seconds short of the best time.

Philippe Prette completes the top three positions in the second Maserati from LP Racing.

Qualification 2:

Maserati with starting number #1 also dominated the second qualifying session. Italian youngster Carlo Tamburini had the best start in the second race with a time of 2:03.404.

Second place goes to KTM works driver Reinhard Kofler in the MZR Motorsportzentrum-Ried X-BOW GT2. The Austrian fell short of pole position by 0.322 seconds.

Mato Homola finishes top 3 in RTR KTM Projects.
