Smart #1, as the name suggests, should be the first example of the brand’s new look. In 2019, the manufacturer entered joint venture with Geelywho now owns half of the shares. The other half is still in the hands of Mercedes. An example has already been shown in prototype form at the IAA in autumn 2021.but now we have official pictures.
The car is based on the SEA system from Geely and is no longer compact like previous Smart proposals. It counts 4.27 m in length, 1.82 m in width and 1.64 m in heightwhich puts it among the slightly larger representatives of crossovers of segment B. In terms of performance, however, the new smart lags behind its potential rivals in the B segment engine electricity with a power of 272 HP and a torque of 343 Nmwhich drives only the rear wheels. This will undoubtedly give him a good performance, but this is still a secret.
