Nissan’s American division of Infiniti unveiled the 2025 QX80 luxury car, a three-row SUV at the Edge, a 100-story skyscraper at Hudson Yards in Manhattan.

The new model has retractable door handles and offers an optional Light Path which, as the driver approaches, sets up a light show that starts at the grille brand logo, continues through the DRL and finally projects the wing like geometric shapes down on each side.

Interior materials include ash wood trim and laser-etched metal inserts and optional hand-stitched semi-aniline leather seats.

An optional 64-color personalized, “derived from the four seasons” lighting is offered. The new SUV features high-quality displays with a reconfigurable meter display and central touchscreen infotainment. This is the first Infiniti and Googleconnect the Assistant app, Maps and other apps to the display via Google Play.

Equipment highlights include Biometric Cooling which detects when a second-row passenger might be feeling hot and automatically directs cooling air towards them, claimed to get passengers to a comfortable temperature in half the time than standard climate control alone and it turns on automatically.

Wide Front View and Invisible Hood Imaging use a camera and image processing to help see obstacles. Front View displays a wide-angle view from the car’s front camera on both 14.3-inch screens. The hood view shows a projected image of what’s behind the car’s hood, allowing you to see roadblocks, tracks when entering a car wash and other obstacles.
