Marilyn Kay Severns | Anniversary

Marilyn Kay Sevarns formerly of Frankfort and Cadillac died Wednesday, April 10, 2024 at Munson Healthcare Cadillac Hospital. He was 74 years old.

Marilyn was born January 21, 1950 in Frankfort, Michigan to James T. & Patricia J. (Plant) Hammond and preceded her in death. In the spring of 1972 she married Charles E. Sevarns and he preceded her in death in 1993.

Marilyn graduated from Frankfort High School. After raising her family she attended Ferris State University and earned her Bachelor’s degree. He had been employed at Munson Healthcare for over 20 years working in Frankfort and Cadillac.

He enjoyed playing Bingo, camping, hunting, fishing, and most of all spending time with his family.

Survivors include her children: Joseph Sevarns of Mecosta, Charles (Shannon) Sevarns of Escanaba, Donald (Danielle) Sevarns of Brethern, and Angela Sevarns of Cadillac; 8 grandchildren: Damien, Caleb, Kallie, Eden, Tyler, Dominic, Logan, Kyleigh, Isabelle, and Victor; 3 grandchildren: Weston, Maverick and Kenzie; 2 brothers: James Hammond (Becky Henry) and Douglas (Cindy) Hammond; and his Uncle, Paul Hammond.
