Mazda Lease, LLD’s new offer for businesses

How is this new entity set up?

“Last year, we produced more than 10,000 cars. We finally brought the brand back to its pre-COVID-19 level. In 2024, we aim for professional sales of 30%. Within this 30%, the model Mazda 2 hybrid and CX 60 diesel and PHEV will represent half of our LLD sales. This is what we are going to rely on. We have strengthened the commercial policy regarding these 2 vehicles so that they are more competitive from the beginning of April with companies. Mazda leasing is a product that should allow us to achieve this goal. In 2023, we benefited from a very large order portfolio, which did not occur at the beginning of 2024. So to achieve the same performance in bulk this year in the pro sales segment (15% of ships and 15% of LLD) . “

So the goal is to increase LLD rates?

“In fact, for the LLD pro company, we have an expectation of having 1,500 cars. Most of it will come from Mazda finance (via BNP Finance) with about 800 cars for the launch year. 500 cars should be in rental companies where we are working together for one, with Mazda Leasing, we set a target of 200 cars initially, but we are starting from zero more than 500 cars in the coming years Leasing is a new development tool.”

The CX 60 diesel and PHEV represent half of Mazda’s LLD sales.

What is Arval’s role in this partnership?

“For Mazda Lease, we and Arval developed a commercial policy together. Arval provides regional managers to support our network and develop our professional sales. In addition, Arval is committed to returning the vehicles at the end of the contract.”

To strengthen its presence in BtoB, Mazda has started a fleet club, what is it?

“Flot club brings together about 25% of our businessmen. They are chosen by their ability to develop business sales. Their goal is to put themselves in contact with local companies, local agencies, long-term rental companies. time. . We chose to provide more resources for some of our dealers, we planned to be better, important, where the possibility exists, so especially in the big cities since mid-2022, with the arrival of the CX 60 PHEV Mazda 2 hybrid, this has allowed us to triple our share of LLD pro from 4% of our subscription to 15% in 2024. We have focused some of our products on the most suitable sectors for the development of this type of sales, the desire to fight against the historically established generalists or mandatory payments.

Mazda MX-30, the only 100% electric model from the Japanese manufacturer.

Regarding the engine, Mazda has one 100% electric model and still offers a diesel engine. Will you continue with this high energy strategy?

“This brand has always made unusual choices. We were very surprised by the performance of diesel which represented almost 1/3 of our CX 60 registrations in 2023. Looking at TCO, total cost of use, diesel for our registration. heavy vehicles they really make a lot of sense. Many manufacturers will stop using diesel, we offer an attractive and successful alternative. market expectations today. This was one of the factors that allowed us to return to the amount we knew in 2019. With 1,805 vehicles, this represents about 20% of our registrations of 2023. Finally, regarding full electric, we have MX 30 unusual car with a short range of 200 km in mixed cycle. But BEV will not be in our business development strategy this year.
