Mitsubishi Motors is a partner of KNSB until 2026


As part of the partnership, the first four cars have been handed over to the short trackers Itzhak de Laat, Sven Roes, Friso Emons and Kay Huisman. More Short Track athletes will be assigned to TeamNL in the near future. Various employees of the KNSB Federal Office will also gradually change to the Mitsubishi Motors model. The collaboration between Mitsubishi Motors and KNSB has also been seen on the cars with special stickers.

Mitsubishi Motors’ ‘Drive your ambition’ campaign suits Dutch short-track skiers who have won several international medals in recent years. Despite all the honorable positions at the European Championships, the World Cup, the World Cup and the Olympic Games, TeamNL Short Track remains enthusiastic and sets new goals.

The agreement with Mitsubishi Motors continues until 2026, the year in which the short track team of national coach Niels Kerstholt wants to win a medal again during the Winter Games in Milan 2026. But for now, the main focus is on the upcoming World Championships, from 15 to 2026. March 17, 2024 in Ahoy Rotterdam. Here too, Mitsubishi Motors will present itself as TeamNL’s Short Track mobility partner.

Jeroen Kraaij, commercial director of KNSB, is delighted with the new partnership: ‘The ambitions of TeamNL Shorttrack and Mitsubishi Motors match well and finding a mobility partner was high on our priority list. This is based on the scope of TeamNL Short Track activation. With the support of our partners, we are doing everything we can to relieve the burden and enable TeamNL. With Mitsubishi Motors as Mobility Partner, this picture is now complete.’

Mitsubishi Motors will also be seen in short national events in the coming years. The various Mitsubishi Motors online expressions will also appear on Schaatsen.nl and on the Instagram account of TeamNL Shorttrack. In addition, there will be updates on the Dutch Mitsubishi Motors YouTube channel.
