NEW – Taking over from the Crossland, this vehicle will share its multi-energy platform with other vehicles from the Stellantis range.

It is connected in a group Star since 2017, a German brand Opel continues its transformation with a range that is currently redesigned around a new official language and a redesigned logo. Officially presented on May 14 but not unveiled before the start of the school year in September, this SUV will succeed the current Crossland. Advertised at around 4.40 meters in length to keep it apart from the Mokka, so it will be bigger than the model it replaces, the trunk can reach a load volume of 1,600 litres, with the rear seat folded down.

Around the clean lines, the two-tone bodywork featuring the Vizor grille silhouette with a black belt and sharp vertical lines, the Fontera will be based on the evolution of the CMP multi-system platform from the Stellantis group. It will offer access to a 48V light hybrid engine with 136 hp and an electric version with 156 hp and a 54 kWh battery.

The ultra-modern interior is built around two 10-inch horizontal panels that connect the digital instruments. With comfort in mind, seats made from recycled materials feature the patented Intelli-Seat function – a position that reduces pressure on the coccyx.
