Lexus NX Overtrail: A chic SUV with good looks and suspension

Lexus is launching a sporty version of its mid-size SUV, the NX. It replaces its chrome exterior with a glossy black color and stands 15 mm higher than its wheels, which are worn with all-terrain rubber. The special metallic color of the Moon Desert also looks good with the black eighteen inches.

It looks slick on the outside, the NX Overtrail, but the inside also gets special treatment. The sports seats are upholstered in a combination of black faux leather and khaki fabric. The door panels and center console storage area are also finished in khaki, which pairs wonderfully with the new Geo Layer design inspired by the texture of natural rock layers.

Due to the 15 mm higher suspension, the overall length of the car has increased to 1675 mm, which provides greater ground clearance and a better view of the environment. To say that the Overtrail version of the NX makes it a true off-road vehicle would be an insult to the truth, but unpaved roads are probably not a problem.

The new version of Overtrail can now be ordered. You can choose between the NX 350h hybrid (€ 74,170) and the NX 450h+ plug-in hybrid (€ 79,510), both with all-wheel drive. Every Lexus is covered by a ten-year warranty. Comparable premium models in this segment are Alfa Romeo Stelvio, Audi Q5, BMW X3, DS7, Mercedes-Benz GLC and Volvo XC60.
