Recent Dodge and Chrysler sedans were recalled for defective cushions


Manufacturer Stellantis recently issued a new recall regarding defective air bags that could injure or even kill occupants.

However, this is not another chapter in the saga of the late Japanese equipment manufacturer Takata, whose last memories were affected. Dodge Magnum, A competitor and Charger too Chrysler 300 from 2005 to 2010.

No injuries or accidents involving 2018 to 2021 Dodge Chargers and Chrysler 300s have been reported to Stellantis so far, but at least five separate incidents have occurred and are being investigated. This revealed that the explosions occurred when the temperature inside the car exceeded 49 degrees Celsius.

Affected owners will receive a reminder notice by summer and, when replacement parts are available, will be invited to make an appointment with a dealer to carry out the repair, free of charge.
