This is how much the new Skoda Kodiaq costs


The new model of Skoda’s 7-seater SUV, the Kodiaq, has recently become available to order on the Belgian brand’s website. This second generation can live longer than before with a length of up to 6 cm, while showing a more attractive and stable appearance. The technology has also changed with, in the cabin, a 10-inch central screen as standard (which can reach 13 inches as an option), as well as a 10-inch Virtual Cockpit. Everything can be supported by a head-up display. We will also see the appearance of a new induction charger that can accommodate two smartphones. On the outside, the Czech SUV offers new LED matrix optics along with an attractive illuminated grille.

Under the hood

Regarding the engine, in gasoline, the Kodiaq can rely on a 1.5 liter and a small hybrid of 150 hp and a 2 liter that distributes its 204 hp between two axles. In diesel, the catalog offers 2 liters that sends 150 hp to the front axle or 193 hp with four-wheel drive. All these engines are associated with a 7-speed DSG gearbox.

The Kodiaq also benefits for the first time from a plug-in hybrid engine combining a 1.5-litre petrol unit with a 25.7 kWh battery. The unit develops 204 hp and can travel over 100 km on its batteries alone. This PHEV variant benefits from a charging power of 11 kW in alternating current and 50 kW in direct current.

How much does the 2024 Skoda Kodiaq cost?

Two special series can already be ordered: Family starting at €38,990 and Company which starts at €46,980. The former is currently used as an entry-level model with equipment including a 10-inch infotainment screen, Virtual Cockpit, heated front seats and electric trunk locking. A reversing camera, air conditioning, blind spot detection and even Remote Parking Control are also included. The special Family series can be equipped with three engines: 1.5 l and 150 hp or 2 l TDI available in 150 or 193 hp.

As for the Kodiaq Corporate, it can rely on a 13-inch infotainment screen as well as Virtual Cockpit, Lane Assist with Traffic Congestion Assist and Emergency Assist, cruise control, heated seats and climate control, wireless connectivity between smartphone and radio, reversing camera, blind spot detection and even Remote Parking Control. The special edition Business series may receive the same engine as the Kodiaq Family.

These two models can already be ordered from Skoda dealers and are available for configuration Belgian brand website. It is clear that we will have to wait a little longer before we can benefit from the PHEV variant as well as the 2 liters of petrol.
