Rimac Nevera Color Is An Amazing Dutch Character

Produced by Mate Rimac himself, this red, white, and blue Nevera represents the colors of the Dutch flag.

The world record-breaking Rimac Nevera is a supercar in high demand and today, the very first Dutch-registered example landed in Rotterdam. The details given by the owner make this more than just a simple ‘rich man gets a luxury car’ story.

Mate Rimac himself presented this Nevera, number 24, to Michel Perridon, in an exclusive event on Tuesday. Perridon specified a three-color combination of Volcano Red and Polar White and Navy Blue. The three shades come together to represent the colors of the Dutch flag.

The transparent carbon fiber panels are all painted bright orange and the car rests on diamond-cut wheels in gunmetal. The glossy black cabinets help the Nevera stand out and the interior is just as attractive. Most of the cabin received a heavy dose of dark blue Alcantara but a few bright pops of red Alcantara, especially on the steering wheel, stand out as well.

The presentation event gave Rimac the opportunity to strengthen its partnership with Pon Luxury & Performance Cars which operates Rimac Rotterdam. “I’m excited to see more Nevera hitting the roads around the world, and this example is sure to turn heads. We’re excited to see it in the hands of an enthusiast like Michel Perridon. Owning it isn’t just about the car; it’s about being part of something, pushing the boundaries together,” Mate Rimac he said.

For his part, Perridon expressed his feelings saying: “As a true Dutchman, I am very proud to receive the first 2000 horsepower car for the Netherlands. To be personally handed this beautiful example of Nevera by Mate Rimac himself, finished in the colors of the Dutch national flag according to my vision, is truly an honor. It is a privilege to make history with the Rimac team.”

Like every Nevera model that starts from around $2.2 million and goes up to $3 million if you keep ticking the option boxes, this one uses a quartet of electric motors to produce 1,888 horsepower (1,408 kW). The hypercar has achieved several track records around the world including at the Nurburgring where it completed a lap in just 7:05:298.
