Polestar offers Polestar Charge, a charging service that also includes Tesla Superchargers


Polestar throw together Plugsurfing new charging service app Polestar paymentswhich allows you to collect more 650,000 reward points in Europe, so that Polestar customers can find everything easily, with rates and a single payment method.

At first glance the app looks like a Plugsurfing white label, and in fact email communications are signed. When registering you must select your Polestar vehicle from the list, also enter the VIN number.

Once these steps are taken you can access the most important charging networks, including IONITY, Recharge, Total, Fastned and Allego, and also Tesla Supercharger open for all products. Tesla charging stations are visible on the map, but to use them you need to switch to the Tesla app, after previously connecting your Polestar Charge account to your Tesla account.

This is because through a monthly subscriptionwhich for Italy it is 13,99 eurosyou can reach discounted prices, even for Superchargers. The discount is for HPC infrastructure exceeding 50 kW of power, in the order of 30% of the cost. In Germany Superchargers have a 30% discount, while Allego, Fastned, Ionity, Recharge AS and Total will have a fixed price discount. 0.55 euros per kWh.

You can also order one RFID card, again from within the program, at a cost of 9.95 euros. If the smartphone in use is an iPhone, you can use Apple Pay as a payment method. The Polestar Charge subscription service is available to Polestar owners in the following European markets: Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Germany, Spain, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Norway, Finland, Sweden, Switzerland and the United Kingdom.
