Steve Hackett in Spoleto to tell the story of Genesis – Music

Steve Hackett, the famous guitarist and composer, one of the artists of progressive rock, will be in Spoleto, at the Teatro Nuovo Gian Carlo Menotti, Saturday 1 June, to tell, during the public meeting, his musical adventure with Genesis, his music, art his guitar. Journalist Mario Giammetti, author of more than 15 Genesis books and considered one of the leading international experts on the English band, will speak with him.


A unique event in Spoleto – emphasizes the Municipality -, a conversation between Hackett and Giammetti, a conversation open to questions and contributions from the public, to listen, from the voice of the guitarist, to the stories, stories and characters of the extraordinary creative story, space worth discovering his expressive talent and his compositional technique, exploring, with one of the protagonists, the complex world of Genesis, among the prog bands that have most marked the collective imagination.


The event, organized by the Carducci municipal library of Spoleto – Municipal Department of Culture, will have free admission.
